Welcome to the Undertow Cinematic Universe!

We’re super excited to work with you! Please carefully review all the information below and complete the Artist Intake Form at the bottom.

Here is what you can expect from Undertow:

1. TICKETING + CUSTOMER SERVICE
Tickets for Undertow Shows are available at undertowshows.com. All tickets must be purchased in advance from the Undertow ticket store. Show details will be emailed to guests after they complete their ticket purchase.

If fans contact you with customer service inquires (technical issues, lost tickets, ticket surrender, wait lists, etc.), have them contact us here: hello@undertowshows.com

2. ARTWORK + BASIC PROMOTION
With access to Google and Undertow’s Art Department (Emily + her Canva Pro account) we can create a basic graphic for your tour as well as localized admats. If you’d like to provide your tour promo images / graphics / localized admats – that works too! Please send them our way. Here is a folder of Undertow’s brand assets.

Undertow lead promo typically includes:
– Facebook Events (we make them and send your page co-hosting requests)
– Bandsintown Events (we will format them and send you a CSV file to bulk-upload)
– Instagram + Facebook Posts (we are always busy plugging multiple projects simultaneously, but Undertow will make no less than 3 posts per touring project)
– Newsletter Blasts (Undertow has a robust mailing list, so we’ll make sure to tell them about your shows)

For a tour to be its most successful, the artist needs to be a majority of the muscle behind the overall promotion. Undertow will do all it can to promote your tour, but YOU must be a willing participant in this process. Failure to promote adequately will impact future opportunities with Undertow.  

3. SALES UPDATES
Every couple of weeks, we’ll send you a ticket sales update. We will also send periodic updates to hosts and ask them to help with promotion. If you’re curious about sales between updates, you can check the “Tickets Available” tracker on individual ticket pages.

4. PAYMENT
Undertow will settle with you 1-3 business days after the tour concludes. We pay artists through our payroll system, Gusto. We will use the info from your W9 to establish you as a contractor before sending you an invite link, where you will then provide your banking details.

2. TOUR PROMO + INDIVIDUAL SHOW PROMO
We know this isn’t your first rodeo, but the DIY-nature of Undertow Shows can sometimes require more promo than a standard venue tour. We need you to actively promote and talk about your tour. Your fans would rather hear from you than from Undertow, so please use all the tools at your disposal to get the message out there.

This includes.:
– Newsletter Blasts
– VIP Platforms (Substack, Patreon, etc)
– Instagram (grid posts, story posts, and reels)
– Facebook (posts, sharing and inviting friends to the official Events)
– Bandsintown (claim your profile if you haven’t already)

If a particular market is struggling with sales, we need you to specifically focus on and/or shout out that location.

3. LODGING / ACCOMMODATIONS
Artists are responsible for arranging their own lodging / accommodations.

Hosts sometimes share with Undertow that they have access to accommodations to let the artist(s) stay overnight, such as a guest house or nearby Airbnb. If hosts share this info with us, we will forward to you/your team so you can coordinate. Undertow will not liaison between you and the host(s) on lodging, but – let us know if YOU ARE NOT going to use their accommodations and we’ll kindly relay back to them.
